Our Shared Responsiblity
This year, we honour the brave families and communities returning home to Israel’s North.
For months, they have lived with uncertainty and displacement. Yet with extraordinary courage, they are choosing to rebuild, restore and strengthen the communities that have always been the backbone of Israeli society.
Without thriving communities in the North, Israel cannot remain as strong, secure and resilient. These families are not simply returning to their homes, they are safeguarding our borders, rebuilding our future and ensuring the strength of generations to come.
But they cannot do it alone.
They need the support of the global Jewish community.
This year’s WIZO WA is dedicated to providing support, infrastructure and programs for families rebuilding their lives and to the children rediscovering their communities. We are supporting grandparents returning to the places where family histories were built.
This is their true North.
